Color Correction in Las Vegas

Color correction in Las Vegas is where experience matters most. Paul Juma, an ABCH-certified master colorist with more than 20 years behind the chair, fixes brassy, banded or uneven color safely, often over more than one visit. Every correction is different, so it is priced per consultation.

Photos first, please: for any color service we ask for photos before booking, so we can give you a thorough consultation. Front and back photos work best, showing your hair in its natural texture (not brushed straight or curled with hot tools), plus a photo of the look you want if you have one. Upload them on our Contact page or simply text them to (702) 449-8429.

Color Problems We Correct

  • Brassy, orange or yellow blonde, often made worse by Las Vegas hard water.
  • Banding: stripes of different shades from layered color or overlapping touch-ups.
  • Uneven or patchy color, including box dye and home color.
  • Color that went too dark, or a red that didn’t turn out as planned.
  • Dull, muddy brunettes and reds from mineral build-up.

Why Color Correction Is Priced Per Consultation

Two heads of “brassy” hair can need completely different work. The price depends on what is already in your hair, its condition, how far it is from the color you want, and how many visits it will take to get there without damage. That is why we ask for photos first, and why we go over the plan and the price with you before anything is mixed.

How We Correct Color Safely

  1. Remove the residue. Hard-water minerals are taken out first with a Metal Detox treatment or Malibu crystals, so new color takes evenly.
  2. Remove unwanted color gently. Malibu’s vegan range includes color removing and color correction treatments, done damage-free because no harsh chemicals are involved.
  3. Protect the bonds. Olaplex Bond Multiplier (No.1) goes into every lightener, with Bond Perfector (No.2) when needed, at no extra charge.
  4. Rebuild the color. L’Oréal Professionnel Majirel or Dia color evens out the shade and sets the tone.
  5. Pace it. When the hair needs it, we stop and finish at a second visit rather than compromise its integrity.

“Since seeing Paul this last year, my hair not only looks and feels better, but he’s slowly and SAFELY giving me the blonde I’ve always wanted.”

Adding Volume Back After Damage

When earlier color has left the ends thin or broken, a correction can’t put that hair back. Extensions can. Once the color is even, Paul can restore fullness with non-glue bead extensions, which attach with no glue, heat or chemicals, so the hair you are nursing back to health isn’t stressed further.

I tried to go red and Paul corrected my hair twice to get it dark with blonde highlights. He had to correct it twice to get it the right color and to get it right. He did a blonde balayage. He also put in 22" ombre extensions and they blended so well at the end. Both the balayage technique and the extensions look flawless. I've been using hand tied wefts the past two years and I switched over to micro beads with Paul and am glad I switched over. I have perfect color, length and blends. Thanks, Paul!

Having had a LOT of bad experiences in the last few years, I finally asked a dear friend for her hair guy’s contact info and I’m SO happy I did! Since seeing Paul this last year, my hair not only looks and feels better, but he’s slowly and SAFELY giving me the blonde I’ve always wanted 🥰 Not to mention he’s a hell of a guy and I enjoy our chats immensely! With patience and persistence I have such healthier hair now😍 thank you SO much Paul! You are simply THE BEST!

Color Correction FAQ

How much does color correction cost in Las Vegas?

Color correction is priced per consultation. The cost depends on your hair’s history, its condition, how far it is from the color you want, and whether it is best done in one visit or several. Send photos and we’ll give you a plan and a price before we start.

How many appointments does color correction take?

Often more than one. Correcting safely means taking color out or lifting it only as far as your hair can handle in a day. Paul will tell you at the consultation how many visits he expects.

Can you fix hair that went orange or brassy?

Yes. Brassiness is one of the most common corrections we do. In Las Vegas it is often made worse by hard-water minerals, so we remove that residue first with Metal Detox or vegan Malibu crystals, then tone or recolor.

Can you correct box dye or color done at another salon?

Yes. Tell us what was used if you know, and send front and back photos in natural light. Home color and layered salon color can sit unevenly in the hair, which is exactly what a correction plan is for.

What should I send before a color correction?

Front and back photos of your hair in its natural texture, not brushed straight or curled with hot tools, plus a photo of the color you want. Upload them here or text them to (702) 449-8429.

Unhappy with your color? Send front and back photos through our contact page or text them to (702) 449-8429, and we’ll book your free consultation.
